1er album de YODACITY, un projet musical initié par Stéphane Pachot.
L’histoire de Far and Back commence en 2002 avec la recherche d’un instrument de musique particulier. Un piano, mais pas n’importe lequel. Un vieux piano désaccordé, échoué dans une brocante, qui manifestement avait terminé sa vie, mais restait cependant habité par une histoire musicale riche. Poser ce piano comme première pierre du projet était un moyen de prendre le contre-pied des technologies actuelles, et de construire une matière sonore fragile mais sincère plutôt que d’être dans la performance musicale. Petit à petit ce piano fatigué s’est effacé des pistes qu’il avait enfanté, pour ne laisser qu’une ombre, furtive mais essentielle : la poésie.
au bout de chaque rêve il y a un voyage, à chaque voyage il y a un retour, et à chaque retour naît un nouveau rêve…
Far and Back est une véritable histoire à travers un voyage sonore qui appelle à un éternel recommencement.
